The palette I did buy was smashed and broken. I just returned it at the East side location with no issues. Bottom line... I will make my purchases elsewhere for a while and give kohl's another try when I have forgotten about this negative experience.
Sales clerk would not sell me makeup because she was "holding it" for another customer. I found the makeup out on a counter so it was more than a little frustrating. Apparently someone had moved it prior but the practice of holding clearance makeup for other customers and not selling it is not going to get a good rating from me.

Kohl's has something for everyone. Having a great department store to shop at without a trip to the eastside is fantastic. The prices and selection are good. I love the Simply Vera - Vera Wang line.
This is my favorite Kohls. At least they ask for my rewards card. The one on the east side does not and I usually forget. There are usually great sales and deals going on. I've never really had an issue here. Everyone has always been nice and friendly. Returns are easy. The Kohls on the east side does have a lot more stuff though, which is why I still go to that one.
