A good museum for children. A little in the small side, and higher price than I would pay, but the membership makes it doable. A good place for a rainy day if it's not too busy. Being open on Mondays and later hours would be great.
Fantastic children's museum for a city of Evansville's size. The new exhibits on the third floor are.great, too, and worth checking out if your kids haven't had the chance yet.
Went as part of Museum Wander. Love the place. Architecture is amazing. (It's in an old library.) I turned into a 71year old kid here. Played and did crafts. How much fun is that? Also bought some Christmas present s for the great-grandkids from the gift shop. Seriously hope they do the Museum Wander again!!
I don't often do reviews but when I can see a person or business that's genuinely making a change better or worse that it should be shared for all to see. I visited the museum for the first time with my grandkids back in February I believe and was kinda disappointed the building was dirty and alot of things weren't working right and for the price I just expected more. However the grandkids had fun they didn't take notice of the conditions like I did. I decided to give them another chance and let me tell you it's like a completely different place. It was very clean which is surprising with all the construction going on I don't know how they do it. The exhibits were all in great shape too! The staff was very friendly and eager to interact with us I loved that. We enjoyed the new space kids world and even I learned quite a bit. I saw a younger man changing some light bulbs and asked him when they had opened the new space and and he not only answered my questions but walked me to threw each station he was very entertaining and and the kiddos loved it. I felt bad for taking up his time as he looked busy but things like that make the experience so memorable. The girls at the front desk we're equally as outgoing and seemed to love what they do there. It's a day I won't soon forget and i gurantee I have told just about everyone in my family and at work. I can't wait to go back and play some more. Who could be though learning could be so much fun. Lots of activities and learning for kids. Parties here are good. Great asset for the winter for sure.
