I had booked my family Jamaica vacation through an agent here. We all went together, and had rooms by each other(so we thought). When we arrived to Sandals Jamaica, we were informed that my two 18 year old sisters had an upgraded room that was two miles from the rest of the family. When I asked my travel agent through email about this, she said "Sandals must have overbooked the rooms, and she had no idea about it" (which I have in email) So my family and I had to spend 1200 to upgrade our rooms, because we didn't want to leave the 18 year olds by themselves in a foreign country for safety reasons. When we got home from Jamaica, My mother and I contacted our travel agent, and she then told us that she knew the entire time the girls had a new room. She said that " delta vacations called her the day before my family and I left and told us they wanted to give us one free room upgrade, and that she wanted it to be a SURPRISE." Surprise is the actual word she used. We would have NEVER agreed to this if she would have simply called and asked, which is her job. When I told her we were out 1200 due to her taking our nation into her hands, she simply responded with "her hands are tied" and then just quit responding to me altogether. I have booked with other agents here and had a GREAT experience. But unfortunately one travel agent ruined our business there.
I just got back from Punta Cana.I wasn't told of the. All-inclusive resorts that catered more to singles,thus I ended up around couples and families.I will not use this agency again
