Great staff, Love what they do and I feel good boarding our pet.
We have taken dogs to the PPL before and even though it was really expensive, they we're a family member's recommendation so we stuck with it. We have now had a reservation with them for a few weeks (we had a vacation planned and can't bring our pets) and even confirmed everything two days ago. No the day we are supposed to leave we have been turned away with the explanation that they "don't have the paperwork". After reiterating that everything was supposed to be fine two days ago, their response was "there's nothing" they can do.
Only thing I wish they had was a streaming cam on their website of the back play area so we could watch the dogs play.
I really love the staff here and facilities are awesome!
The PPL is trash as far as I'm concerned now and I will never nor ever allow a friend to make a reservation there again. Besides the fact they are overpriced for a glitzy name and exterior, the Paw Print Lodge does not have or take accountability for the business... The pets we trust it to keep safe for us... Or it's customers.
We have a 4 year old husky and travel frequently. We used pawprint lodge for the first time to kennel her and it will be the only place we go from here on. Usually for the first couple of days after we get back she hides under our bed or just wants to be left alone. I blame this on the way most kennels are set up with chain link kennels all sharing walls. The private rooms make a much better experience for the animals.
We'll give this one star because the staff was friendly. However, the rest of our experience was bad with this place. We dropped off our dog for a week trip and when we picked him up, he was filthy dirty. We noticed on the ride home, he had a swollen upper lip and scabs all over his tail and bottom and he had diarrhea the rest of the day. Not a word from the place about his stay. I called them to ask if I could speak to a supervisor about his stay, and she said she was the supervisor on duty for him that week and that nothing was out of the ordinary. We had to bring him to the vet the next day. He had a fever and had to have three different kinds of medicine to heal all his issues. Red Woof will have our business from now on. They cost a little more but you absolutely get what you pay for!
The first thing we noticed when walking through the door is it was clean and relatively quiet. Every other kennel I've been to the dogs are barking and howling in the back non stop.
