You have to love doctors that refuse to accept your insurance because it doesn't pay them enough. I had been seeing Dr. Knapp at this office for a couple of years and my insurance had changed during that time. He continued to see me. Dr. Colon took over his office and patients as he retired earlier this year. I received a letter informing me of the change, but there was no mention of insurance refusal. I go to my appointment yesterday only to be told that Dr. Colon no longer accepts my insurance. They had tried to call me the day before, but my phone number has changed. My choices were pay $200 plus dollars to have my teeth cleaned or not be seen. Needless to say, I said no way. If my $200 was going to the hygienist doing all of the work, then maybe. But I will not pay a doctor that I see for 2 minutes just to put gas in her Land Rover or k cups in her lobby. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this office.
Staff is very polite but the dentist herself has the worst bedside manner. I do not recommend her at all
Just recently moving to Evansville from Princeton I had to find a new dentist. Dr. Colon is so wonderful, and her staff is very friendly and caring. I highly recommend!
